Online Card Office

The online card office has a changed the login procedure to be more uniform with other UB services. Now when you click on an login link you will be redirected to a University at Buffalo login page, then returned here to your account. This is only for Faculty, Students and Staff at UB. For parents, guardians, guests and special non-UB Card holders there is no change in the way the site works.

What do you need to know?

  • Returning Students: there is an important change to the Card Management System (CMS). To login, you now use your UBit name and password. If you have any questions about your UBIT name, or have forgotten it, click here.
  • Faculty and Staff should also use their UBit name and password.
  • All UB Card accounts are under the terms of the UB Card Agreement.
  • Incoming students, please note that you must be a current registered student for 2 business days before you will be able to use the CMS.
  • If you are not logged in you will see several accounts which may or may not be available for you to deposit money into. To see which accounts you have, please login.
  • Requests for additions billed to your Student Account will be reviewed on the next business day. They are not added in real time and will not show up in your balance or be available for use until the end of the next business day.
  • Please note that your UB Card is non-transferrable.

How do I Get Started?

Use the navigation bar. Login and to view activity on your accounts, select the plan and month from the available dropdown menus. Click the view button to view your activity for that month.

What is the Card Management System (CMS)?

CMS is a system that allows you manage your Dining Dollars and Campus Cash accounts online. In order to use the CMS, you must have a Campus Dining & Shops Dining Dollars or Campus Cash account for at least one business day and it must be in good standing.

With the CMS you can add funds to your Dining Dollars or Campus Cash account, view your balance and view and print your recent transactions.

Once logged in, you can add funds to the account using a credit card. The funds will be available immediately. Students may also add funds by charging the amount to their Student Account. If you select to add using the Student Account option, you will be prompted to log in with your UBit username and password. Additions charged to your Student Account will be reviewed and processed on the next business day (business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays).

To have a Dining Dollars you must have a valid meal plan or dining dollars for the current semester. If you do not, you may open a dining dollars account online. Requests will be processed in two business days; you will be notified by the UB Card Office once this is done. There are many different account options depending on your status at the University.

If you are not sure if you have an account just click on the view statements link under the main menu. If you do not see the link, then select Login and you will see it once you have logged in.
